Chewy Granola Bars

4 1/2 cups quick oats1 cup whole wheat flour1 tsp baking soda1 tsp vanilla extract1 cup butter, softened3/4 cup honey1/2 cup raisins
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Add oats, flour and soda together in a bowl. In a separate bowl, combine softened butter, honey, and vanilla. Combine the two bowls together and mix. Add raisins.
Press mixture into a 15x18 bar pan (cookie sheet). Bake at 325 for 18-20 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes and then cut into bars. Then let bars cool completely in pan before removing or serving.
My kids like the taste of these best when wrapped individually and stored in the refrigerator.
