Acai Berry Compote

Ingredients
2 cups frozen berries2 T acai juice1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
Directions
Put frozen berries, juice, and vanilla extract in heavy-bottomed saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer gently until reduce, and slightly thickened. Cool, and store refridgerate until used. Makes a great topping for oatmeal, or mixed in plain yogurt.

Makes 3 1/4-cup servings, but may vary on cooking time.

Orange juice, orange zest, and cloves can also be added for more flavor.
