Cranberry-Pineapple salad

Ingredients
1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained2 packs (4 servings each) Jell-o brand Raspberry flavored jello1 can (16 oz) whole berry cranberry sauce1 medium apple, chopped*optional - 2/3 cups walnuts (not included with calorie count)
Directions
Drain pineapple, reserve liquid. Add enough water to the reserve pineapple juice to make 3 cups. Pour into large sauce pan and heat till boiling. Remove from heat. Add gelatin, stir at least 2 minutes until dissolved. Add cranbrry sauce, stir. Pour into large bowl. Refrigerate 1 1/2 hours or until slightly thick. Stir in pineapple, apples (and optional walnuts) Refrigerate 4 hours until firm. Makes 14 servings - 1/2 cup each.
