Poundcake Loaf

Ingredients
1 cup butter, 1 1/3 cups sugar, 4 eggs, 2 tsps vanilla extract, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 3/4 cups unbleached white flour, 1/3 cup milk
Directions
cream butter, add sugar and cream, add eggs one at a time, add vanilla, salt, and baking powder, beat well. add flour, mix on low until well incorporated, add the milk and blend.

bake at 1 1/4 hours in a 9x5 loaf pan at 350 degrees.
