Ingredients
Directions
Whiting (fish), 2 fillet *McCormick GrillMates Montreal Steak Seasoning, 0.75 tspParsley, dried, .5 tsp Thyme, ground, .25 tspPaprika, .25 tsp *Onion powder, .125 tsp Garlic powder, .125 tsp
*Place fillets in a greased 11 x 7 baking dish. Drizzle with butter. In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; sprinkle over fillets.
*Cover and bake at 425 for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake 5-8 minutes longer or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
*Yields 2 Serivings
(It also says to put melted butter on top of the fish prior to the seasoning. I leave this off and it is NOT calculated in the calories. I also use a dash of onion salt instead of powder because thats what I have, and then I don't use salt.)
(FYI .125 tsp means 1/8)

The cooking directions were great, but my wife and I could not taste much seasoning and I put it on the fish heavily. Bland and slightly bad. - 7/27/11

Did you follow the amounts correctly? This recipe has so much extra seasoning you can't see the fish...
Hopefully you'll try again and tweek it to your liking.

I was leery about this recipe but read comments convinced me to try it. It was fast, easy and had a great flavor. I modified slightly using 1/8 reg paprika and 1/8 smoked paprika, replaced onion and garlic powder with Emeril's Original Essence and it was excellent. I will make this recipe again. - 7/4/11
