* *Old Fashioned Quaker Oatmeal- Plain, 1 cup *Whole Wheat Flour, 1.5 cup *Splenda Brown Sugar Blend, 3 tsp * Walnuts, .6 cup, chopped * Vanilla extract, 2 tsp * Milk, nonfat, 1 cup * Egg, fresh, 1 large * Baking Soda, .25 tsp * Baking Powder, 1 tsp * Salt, .25 tsp
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Soak oats in 1 c. milk for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, add all dry ingredients to a bowl. Mix well.
Add egg and milk-soaked oats. Mix.
Add vanilla. Stir only as many times as needed to integrate the ingredient.
Pour batter into 12 muffin cups.
Bake for 11-18 minutes.
