MM Oatmeal wholesome Cookie (less fat)

Ingredients
Directions
1 c raisins.5 c hot water4 c whole wheat flour4 c quaker quick oats (dry)2 tsp baking powder2 tsp salt2 Tbsp cinnamon1 c brown sugar (packed).5 c canola oil.5 c molasses4 lg eggs1 Tbsp vanilla extract2 c water (approx) till sticky.
bake at 350 degrees...
mix dry ingredients together
soak raisins in .5 c hot water.
mix wet ingredients together.
blend wet ingredients into dry.
Might need to add additional water if too stiff or dry...
Bake for 13 - 15 mins
*Make sure to measure out the dough...I measure from 1 Tbsp. try to stick to that...it looks tiny...then I dip a teaspoon in water to flatten the cookie out...looks bigger and makes me feel like I'm having a cookie :o)

I like the taste, but Wow, these cookies would have to be real small to get 106. I got 71 cookies out of this. My first batch was maybe a little too big, but I could have added only maybe 9 more cookies, so even at that I was still only at 80 cookies. So for me the calories per cookie went up. - 3/18/07
