Alyce's Rhubarb Crisp

1 C. sugar2 T. cornstarch1 C. water1 t. vanilla1 C. flour3/4 C. Quaker Oats (old-fashioned)1 stick melted margarine1 t. cinnamon1 C. packed brown sugar4 C. diced rhubarb
On stove, cook till thick: sugar, cornstarch, water and vanilla,
Mix and press into bottom of 9 in. greased pan:
flour, oats, margarine, cinnamon, brown sugar.
Cover with rhubarb. Pour cooked mixture over rhubarb. Top wih remaining crumb mixture.
Bake at 350 for one hour.
