L.R. chicken noodle soup

Ingredients
1 T. butter2 cups sliced carrots2 cups sliced celery1 cup chopped onion1/2 tsp. crushed garlic2 qt. low sodium chicken broth (can use homemade)1 qt. water10 oz. whole wheat noodles2 cups cooked cubed chicken1/2 cup fresh parsley1 T. fresh rosemary1-1/4 tsp. salt1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions
In a large kettle, saute vegetables in butter until crisp tender. Add remaining ingredients and boil until noodles are done and vegetables are tender. Adjust seasoning to taste. Makes about 13-1/2 cups.

    really good. I didn't have whole wheat noodles and used egg noodles. I made my own chicken broth using these ingredients. It came out great. - 5/17/09
