my healthy whole wheat waffles

1 3/4 cup whole wheat flour1/2 tsp of salt1 TBSP baking powder2 egg yolks2 egg whites1 3/4 2% milk1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce1 TBSP sugar1 tsp vanilla extract
In a large mixing bowl, stir flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
In a small bowl, beat egg yolks, milk, vanilla, and applesauce.
add to the flour mixture all at once, blend
in small mixer bowl beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. gently fold beaten egg whites into original mixture and do not over mix
