Austrian Goulash

500 grams goulash beef meat500 grams onions2 Tbsp oil2 Tbsp sweet paprika spicegarlic, salt, pepper, caraway seeds1 tin tomato paste1 tsp sugar 1 Tbsp vinegar1 cup water
Fry chopped onions in oil till clear
Add spices fold in meat and brown slightly
Mix tin of tomato paste with sugar ,vinegar and water and cook slowly for 60 minutes.
Add a little water if nescessary to keep the goulash sauce going.
Serve with potatoes, mashed or whole, rice, band noodles, gnocci or dumplings.
