Pasta Fagioli

2 small stalks celery, chopped1 small onion, chopped3 cloves garlic, minced 2 teaspoons parsley flakes1 teaspoon italian seasoning1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper 2 cups low sodium chicken broth2 cups canned tomatoes1 pound can white beans with liquid1/2 cup cooked pasta shells, drained
Spray a large saucepan with cooking spray.
Over medium heat, cook celery, onion, garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, red pepper and salt in the saucepan until onion is translucent.
Stir in chicken broth and tomatoes. Simmer on low for 15 to 20 minutes.
Add macaroni and undrained beans.
Heat through.
Serve with grated parmesan cheese sprinkled over top if desired.
This makes four servings of approximately 1 1/2 cup each.
