Whole Wheat Applesauce Muffins

1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour1 cup oatmeal or multigrain hot cereal3 tsp baking powder1/2 cup raisins1 tsp cinnamon2-3 Tbls Splenda brand sweetner1 cup nonfat milk1/4 cup applesauce1 banana mashed (optional)1 egg1 tsp vanilla
Mash banana and set aside. Mix all dry ingredients together. In separate bowl, combine all wet ingredients except for bananas and raisins. Slowly mix wet mixture into dry mix. Once blended, add mashed banana's and raisins. Place into greased muffin tins and bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

LIFEHASCHANGES
I came up with a cooking temp of 350 F and checked them often.At 20 mins my little knife came out clean(no t-pick).Made 10 count instead.They were still moist without banana.I really liked this recipe!I used a nonstick pan so no greasing.Came out just fine.Thanks it was my first spark baked treat - 9/3/09
