Delicious Meat Lasagna

Ingredients
1 lb. lean ground beef3/4 cup chopped onion2 tsp. oil16 oz. can of tomatoes2 6oz cans of tomato paste1 tsp. salt1 tsp. pepper1 tbsp. garlic powder1 tbsp. freshly chopped parsley1 tbsp. oregano8 oz. shredded low fat mozzarella cheese16 oz. riccota cheese1 cup of shredded parmesan cheese8 oz lasagna noodles
Directions
lightly brown ground beef and onion with a little oil in a large pot. Add tomatoes (if use whole tomatoes, break them into small pieces with spoon. I prefer to use diced tomatoes), tomato paste, salt, pepper, garlic powder, parsley and oregano and simmer over low heat for approximately 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Prepare the lasagna noodles, using 1/2 box. Drain and rinse so easy to handle.

In the bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2 pan, spread approximately 1 cup of sauce. Place a layer of noodles on top of the sauce, then layer with sauce, riccota, mozzarella and parmesan. Repeat the layers, ending with noodles, sauce, mozzarella and parmesan. Bake in 350 degree oven for approximately 40-50 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting into 12 squares for serving. Serve with a garden salad for a complete meal. Enjoy!
