Ingredients
3/4 cup old fashioned rolled oats3/4 cup quick oats1/4 tsp salt1 Tbsp honey3 Tbsp water1/8 cup walnuts1/4 tsp vanilla
Directions
Mix oats and salt in a bowl, then set aside. Whiz water, honey, walnuts and vanilla in a blender until smooth. Pour contents of blender into dry ingredients. Mix together with a spoon; then mix with your hands to distribute moisture evenly. Spread out granola onto a cookie shet. bake at 250 degrees until dry, watching carefully and stirring ever 20 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely in pan. Store in airtight container in a cool place.

    Loved this recipe, I also sprinkled a little more honey on top before baking. I sprinkle flax seed in the mix before baking as well. - 8/7/10

    I perfer the less calories/fat, so I think I will love this recipe. I just made it (very easy and fast to make) I also addeda step. With the honey once I got it on the pan, I just squeezed a little bit more over the top of it. ill let you know how it comes out! Thanks for posting it. - 9/1/09
