Raw Foods Walnut Pate (Mock Tuna) using a Magic Bullet

Ingredients
1/2 C Walnuts (soaked rinsed and drained-minimum of 30 min)2 T Reduced-Sodium Soy SauceDash Sea Salt (to taste)2 T Cumin1/4 C Carrots (chopped)1/4 C Celery (chopped)1/4 C Scallions (chopped)1/4 C Cilantro (chopped)4 lettuce leaves
Directions
Chop up the walnuts and add the soy sauce, sea salt, and Cumen.

Then add;
carrots, celery, scallions, and cilantro.

Pulse to desired consistency. Be careful not to blend too long or you will get butter :-)

Spread on lettuce leaves, roll up, and ENJOY!

    Thanks for posting this recipe. I have a vege pate I love and have been trying to create it. I started with your "base" and added carrots as well.... and a large spoon of tahini, but instead of cilantro I used sage. It turned out pretty well. Maybe sesame seeds and fewer walnuts? - 8/1/13
