L.R. venison, quinoa, vegetable soup

Ingredients
1 lb. ground venison1 cup chopped onion2 cups sliced carrots2 cups diced celery4 cups small diced potatoes1/2 cup quinoa, rinsed well2 qt. water2 T. beef base1-1/2 tsp. seasoned salt or to taste1/2 tsp. black pepper1 tsp. garlic powder1 tsp. chili powder2 T. basil1/3 cup heavy cream
Directions
In a large kettle, brown the venison with the onion. Add all remaining ingredients except the cream. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 40 minutes or until quinoa and vegetables are tender. Remove from heat and add cream just before serving. makes 13 cups.
