1/4C Butter1/2C Brown Sugar1/3C Granulated Sugar1tsp. Cinnamon1/2tsp. Baking Soda1/8tsp. Salt1 Egg1tsp Vanilla1/2C Whole Wheat Flour1/4C All-Purpose Flour3/4C Rolled Oats1/4C Flax Seed Meal1/4C Wheat Germ2oz Dark Chocolate, Finely Chopped1/4C Dried Cranberries1/4C Chopped Walnuts, Toasted
Preheat oven to 350
In mixing bowl, beat butter for 30 seconds on medium-high speed. add sugars, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Beat too combine. Beat in egg and vanilla, then flours.
Stir in oats, flax seed meal, wheat germ, chocolate, cranberries and walnuts. Dough will be crumbly.
Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 9-11 minutes or until tops are lightly browned
Makes about 30 cookies.
Or for larger- drop spoonfuls and get about 15 cookies. Bake for 11-12 minutes
