Teriyaki Beef Broccoli Stir Fry

Ingredients
Beef, top sirloin, 292 grams (2 small steaks)Broccoli, fresh, 273 grams (1 crown)HyTop Teriyaki Sauce, 1/4 cup + 1 TbspWater, tap, .25 cupCorn Starch, 1 TbspCanola Oil, 1 Tbsp
Directions
Slice the steaks into thin strips and cut the broccoli into smaller pieces.
Marinate the steak in 1/4 cup of the Teriyaki sauce.
Heat the oil in a large non-stick skillet on med-high heat.
Add the meat, but save the marinade, stir while cooking.
When meat is cooked through, add the broccoli and the rest of the meat marinade.
Cover and reduce heat to medium.
Combine 1/4 cup cold water, 1 tbsp Teriyaki sauce and 1 tbsp corn starch, stir well.
Add to the pan when broccoli is tender (3-5 minutes), turn off burner.
Stir while the sauce thickens (it will thicken very quickly).
Serve immediately.
Makes 4 servings, about 3/4 cup each.

    I followed the recipe and liked it very much. I used low sodium Teriyaki Sauce. Also, the second time I made it; I added green and red bell pepper as well as onions. I'm adding this to the rotation. - 10/19/12

    Great for when that Chinese fast food craving hits. I used 8 ounces of New York Strip steak and 12 ounces of large shrimp (cooked the meat separately from the shrimp). I'd recommend doubling the amount of brocoli or adding other veggies to this recipe. Nice flavor! - 2/5/11

    Delicious!! I added some extra stuff like bamboo shoots and water chestnuts. Recipe doesn't make very much though, even though it serves, it didn't seem like it. Will double recipe next time. - 1/1/11
