Garlic Green Beans and Onions

1 T Olive Oil3 C Fresh Green Beans1 Clove Garlic.5 C Onions, sliced1 oz tap water
Makes 3 servings:
Heat a pan to medium heat. Add the olive oild. Cut the onions in long slices and add to the pan. Next, add the chopped clove of garlic. Cook for about 5 minutes, or until the onions are clear.
While the onions and garlic are cooking, cut the ends off of the green beans, then cut them long-ways. Add to the pan with 2 T water. Cover, simmering on low-medium for 10 minutes, or until the beans are slightly tender (or your desired softness).
