Mexican Turkey Burgers

Ingredients
1 Pound of lean ground turkey1 Medium yellow onion1 Orange or red bellpeper2 Cloves Garlic1 Package (1-1.25 oz) Taco Seasoning3-4 T Olive Oil
Directions
In a bowl, combine the turkey and taco seasoning. Use your hands and mix it all together! Next, finely chop onion, bell pepper and garlic. Then sautee onion, garlic and bell pepper in olive oil in skillet. After sautee, pour the veggies into the bowl with turkey which has already been mixed with taco seasoning and mix it all up. Form into patties and cook on the grill. I use my George Foreman Grill! Makes about 6 patties.

    WE thught this was very good. However, we chopped veges in electric chopper and it made the burger too mushy. Next time will let the veges drain before adding to meat. - 5/6/07
