Ingredients
1 c. warm water2 Tbsp. butter1 egg (slightly beaten)3 1/3 c. "Better for Bread" flour1/4 c. sugar1 teas. salt3 teas. yeast (for bread machines)Filling:1/3 c. sugar2 tspn cinnamon2 Tbsp butterGlaze:1 c. powder sugar1/4 - 1/3 c. water (mix to desired consistancy
Directions
Put first 7 ingred. into bread machine (water - salt) in order listed. Select dough cycle and start. Once dough is finished in machine, roll out onto pastry sheet sprinkled with flour, into an 18 x 9 rectangle.
Filling:
Melt butter and apply it to dough. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture. Roll up jelly roll style. Before slicing into 3/4 - 1" slices, melt 1 Tablespoon butter in 13x9 baking pan (I usually do this in toaster over prior to heating large oven).
Slice, then place slices in pan with melted butter. Make sure sides of pan are well greased, as well). Leave about 1/2 " between rows of rolls. Let rise in cooled toaster over for 1 hr.
Preheat oven to 375* and bake rolls 20 min. When done, remove from oven and cool for 10 min. Make glaze and spoon over rolls. ***I usually make my glaze a little thick - because it melts on the warm rolls***

Generally, I am of the opinion that cinnamon rolls should be made to replicate a true Cinnabon, although this recipe will save me alot of time. I must say though, the nutritional information is way out:

The recipe is supposed to make 9 rolls, but when I slice them, I always end up with 12. That may make up for the question in the nutrition values. I'm sure the nutrition seems off, but SP program is what calculates it.

I wouldn't be so hard on your recipe - as far as cinnamon buns go that's a pretty low # of calories - esp. with the glaze on top! I didn't make this; I have my own and it has much more butter and sugar in it, lol ... even though it's still a treat, yours is fairly low cal! ;o) - 6/26/09
