Updated Grandma's German Saurkraut & Brats

Ingredients
Caraway Seed, 2 tsp Saurkraut, 2 cupApples, fresh, 3 medium (2-3/4" dia) (approx 3 per l [green apples]Onions, raw, 1 cup, choppedHoneysuckle White Turkey Bratwurst, 6 serving
Directions
Brown sausage, drain and add onions and simmer about 10 minutes. Add sauerkraut and caraway seed. Simmer for 1 hour, add sliced apples and simmer again for 30 minutes. Add a little water occasionally to keep it from cooking dry.
