DMC's Stuffing (1/2 Cup=1sev)

Ingredients
2 lbs. Jimmy Dean's Regular Pork sausage2 medium onions, chopped5 stalks of celery, chopped2 medium apples, peeled and chopped1 full loaf (1lb 6oz) standard white sandwich bread (or two small unsliced loaves)Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
In a large saute pan, brown the two lbs of pork sausage. Do not drain. Add the chopped onions and celery to the sausage and saute a few minutes more. Turn off the heat and add the peeled and chopped apples and torn pieces of bread. Mix to combine. Add salt and pepper to taste. Stuff inside the neck cavity and the large body cavity ( using toothpicks to hold the neck flap closed. Roast the stuffed turkey for approx. 4 hours or until the turkey's temp. reaches 170'F and the stuffing in the large cavity reaches at least 170'F also.
