crockpot pot roast stew

Ingredients
1 pound of lean beef cubed (tiny bite size) 270 cal per 4oz serv. ( can use seasoned meat tenderizer on beef)2 cups potatoes diced ( tiny bite size)1 cup carrots diced1 large onion minced4 pkgs of brown gravy mixI tsp of beef base bouilloncan thicken w/ corn starch if needed.season to taste with salt and pepper
Directions
Brown beef in pam spray,

turn crock pot on high,

layer the carrot and potatoes on bottom while meat is cooking

After meat is browned layer on top of carrots and potatos this helps them to start and cook.

Saute the onion 1 tsp of oil.

prepare gravy mix as directed on pkg. (cup/water per pkg)

pour over onion after browning and sir in the beef base bouillon.

Cook on high for 1 hour

then you can put on low to finish cooking until meat is tender and the veggies are done.

If you can not change temp can be cooked on low for about 5 hours. (stove top about 1 hr)
