Protein Shake

Ingredients
SF coffee syrup - your choice of flavorWater as directed1 large tablespoon powdered egg whites (I use Deb E)1 teaspoon vanilla1 scoop whey protein powder (I use Precision Engineered from Vitamin World)4 oz. Almond Breeze, unsweetened vanilla1 cup crushed iceXanthan Gum
Directions
Pour in enough SF coffee syrup to almost cover the blade of your blender. Add water to raise liquid level to about 1 inch over blades. Sprinkle egg whites over liquid and let sit for a minute or two. Blend until frothy. Add Almond Breeze, vanilla and protein powder. Blend until well combined. Add crushed ice and blend until ice is almost dissolved. Add Xanthan Gum, if desired (to add thickness, careful here!) Blend for a few second more and serve.

    I have a whey protein shake I love. It has less calories and is easier to make. All ways looking for varity but probly will not make this again. - 7/10/09
