Fresh Ginger Lemon Ade

Ingredients
3/4 c ginger root in small pieces or crushedjuice of 6 lemons, w/some pulp [or concentrated orange juice]sweetener to tastemint leaves, opt
Directions
Pour 2 qts boiling water over ginger root in a non plastic container. Let rest till cool. Strain well. Add lemon juice and sweetener. Serve chilled over ice with a mint leaf.

Also great warm.

    Wow, this looks like good potent stuff! I love making things w/ ginger, I almost always have some on hand. In fact, there's some of this ginger "ade" sitting in my fridge right now. I think I'll go add the lemon & sugar and make some of this! - 9/2/08
