Lemon Grass Beef

Ingredients
* Beef, round steak, 450 grams * Garlic, 3 cloves * Lemon grass , fresh, 2 tbsp * Olive Oil, 1 tsp * Lime Juice, 1 fl oz * Golden Boy Brand Fish Sauce, 1 tbsp * Conimex Ketjap Manis, 1 tbsp * Onions, raw, .5 cup, chopped
Directions
Combine garlic, ginger lemon grass and 1 tsp of oil in a large non metallic bowl. Add the beef and coat. Marinade for at least 10 minutes.

Combine lime juice, fish sauce, ketjap (kecap) manis in a small bowl and set aside.

Heat a wok over high, at 1 tsp oil and swirl to coat. Stir fry beef in batches until brown. Add onions and stir fry for 2 minutes. Add sauce and heat through.

Serve with stir fried vegetables and brown rice.

    It was really lemony. I did substitute a lot though. I used ground beef, soya sauce, and lemon juice instead of the suggested. It was great with veggies and rice! - 5/12/10
