Kicked up ramen/chinese coleslaw

Ingredients
Ramen noodles, flavor of choiceColeslaw, 1 bag of mixSesame seeds, 1 tspsesame oil, 1 tbspCanola Oil, 1/4 cupRice wine vinegar, 1 tbspWhite Vinegar, 1/4 cup14 almonds, chopped (about 2 tbsp)Red onion, 4 tbsp choppedsugar, 2 tbsp1 tsp Soy Sauce
Directions
Crush ramen and put noodles in bowl, save flavor packet.
Layer coleslaw, onion, chopped/slivered almonds and sesame seeds in bowl.
In small bowl whisk together oil, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce and flavor packet.
Pour dressing over the salad and let marinate. You can toss it and serve within a few minutes, but it tastes better if you let it soak for about 24 hours before tossing.

    I used beef ramen and substituted sunflower seeds for the almonds, green onions for red, and splenda for sugar. Overall it turned out good.... but wondering if a different ramen flavor would turn out better. - 9/13/11
