I much prefer to make my own seasoning blends, and this one is both fragrant and flavorful. In addition to adding these seasoning blends to cooked entrees--I sprinkle them on salads, and I use them when making my homemade salad dressings. - 1/20/10

i think it's really good because these herbs are really tasty and you don't need any salt, but if you use fresh herbs it will be more delicious. i'm italian, from naples, and belive me on my balcony there are a lot of fresh hebs ready to use. P.S. sorry for my english - 4/9/10

This is a great recipe and flavor enhancer. You have inspired me to try to create my own seasonings. If you have any other please share them. :-) - 1/20/10

The union of the right herbs can encourage hidden flavors in foods to make themselves known and will transform many a plain meal into something to savor. - 1/20/10

My adopted aunt, my sister's God-Mother, was 2nd generation Sicilian & she NEVER bought seasoning blends. This is so close to a blend she made it might be the same. People think my spaghetti sauce has a secret ingredient (2 Bay leaves). In the crock pot, the spices will combine to scent the house! - 1/20/11

Made some last night and sprinkled on this afternoon's lunch salad! Very good! Don't forget to wash your hands after crushing the herbs! (the hot pepper flakes leave a bit of residue..) - 1/22/10

Spot ON! Whenever I come across something that says to use, say, greek seasoning, cajun seasoning, etc I just look up the recipe and throw a batch together. Those prices at the stores are outrageous; also you often can glean what is IN them simply by looking at the ingredients!! Good point, Meg! - 1/20/10
