Green Tea Rice Pudding

Ingredients
1 quart (4 cups) skim milk1/3 cup rice1/2 cup sugar or Splenda1 1/2 Tbsp green tea powder1 tsp vanilla extract1/8 tsp salt1/3 cup raisins (optional)1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
Directions
In medium saucepan, whisk together green tea powder and milk. Add rice, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until rice is tender, about 30 minutes, stirring regularly to prevent milk from scorching and rice from sticking to the pan. Add raisins and cinnamon (if desired), simmer 10 more minutes. Remove from heat and pour into serving or storage container. Let sit at room temperature 2-3 hours until thickened. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
