Oat and Honey Scones

Ingredients

1 ½ cups flour¼ cup honey 1 tbls. Baking powder¾ tsp. salt¾ cup margarine1 ½ cup Old fashioned or quick oats, uncooked1/3 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (I used pecans)1/3 cup milk
Combine dry ingredients except oats and nuts; cup in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in oats and nuts. Add milk and honey, mixing until moist. On a lightly floured surface roll dough into a big circle about ½ and inch thick. Bake on a greased baking sheet at about 425 for 12-15 minutes. Cut into wedges. (about 16)

Then make a Honey Butter spread if desired (nutrition facts not included)
½ cup margarine or spreadable butter
¼ cup honey or more to desired taste
Cream together until light and fluffy and serve on top of warm scones.
