Steelcut Oatmeal with Cranberries and Apples

2 cups Steelcut or Irish oatmeal8 cups water1 cup chopped apple1/3 cup dried cranberriesdash salt
Mix oats, water, cranberries and salt in 5 or 6 quart slow cooker. Add the apples in last hour of cooking. Set on low for 7 to 8 hours. Add more water for a creamier consistency.

Yes it does. I have portioned out serving sizes in the refrigerator for a week's worth of breakfast, really saves on time.
