Homemade Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients
1 35 oz can of whole tomatoes1 15 oz can of tomato sauce2 tbsp tomato paste2 garlic cloves, mincedhalf a medium onion diced
Directions
Drain the whole tomatoes. Puree half and chop and core the other half, reserving about 1/4 cup of the liquid. Heat the oil in a saucepan. Add onion and cook for about a minute. Add tomato paste and cook about 2 minutes more, being sure not to burn the paste and onions. Add the garlic and cook for about a minute until the garlic starts to brown. Add tomatoes and bring to a boil, then let simmer for about an hour. Serve over your favorite pasta.
