Ingredients
1 cup uncooked lentils2 carrots2 cups beef broth1 tablespoon (3 tsp) minced garlicseason to taste with preferred seasonings
Directions
Soak lentils for 15 minutes, pick through to make remove any bad parts.

Chop carrots, add lentis, carrots, garlic and seasonings to broth, bring to a boil, then let simmer for 25 minutes, or until desired tenderness.

    This is so simple, yet very tasty. I used low sodium chicken broth, and I added all types of seasonings such as oregano, parsley flakes, pepper, and salt free seasoning. Delicious! - 3/31/13

    This was excellent just the way it is. The only other seasoning I used was a little black pepper.

    I had to use vegetable broth because my daughter is vegetarian and I wanted her to be able to eat it too...otherwise I wouldn't have made any changes! - 1/24/10
