Karen's Texas Chili

Ingredients
1 lb. ground turkey meat1/2 red or white onion1 red pepper, chopped1 tsp. minced garlic1 15.5 oz can white or red beans1 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes1 6 oz can tomato paste1 tsp. cayenne2 tsp. red pepper flakes2 dashes of tabasco sauce2 tsp. white pepper2 tsp. black peppersalt (to taste)
Directions
Yeilds 8 cups, serving size is 1 cup

Pan saute ground turkey meat in electric fry pan or use medium size sauce pot. Add onions, garlic and all spices while meat is cooking. (Note: For a more beef-like flavor, use no-sodium beef boullion and mix with 1/4 c. of hot water before pouring over turkey meat.)

Once meat is fully cooked, add diced tomatoes and mix tomato paste with 1/2 cup of water before pouring into mixture. Add white beans and red peppers last.

Let simmer for 20-30. The longer it simmers the spicier it will get. Enjoy over whole grain rice or by itself.
