Polenta with Chilies and Corn

2c milk1c water3/4 c coarse corn meal1/2c grated parmesan3cloves garlic, mincedcilantro and salt to season1 hot green chili2c monterey jack or taco cheese1c canned corn1/2 c whipping cream
Butter 8x8 dish. Preheat oven to 400,
In heated skillet, mix milk, water, corn meal, garlic, salt and parmesan. Whisk constantly. Simmer, stirring frequently until polenta is thickened, (10-12 minutes).
Pour half of polenta into prepared dish. Cover with half of monterey, corn, chilies, cilantro and drizzle with half of whipping cream.
Layer the remainder of polenta on top and repeat with the rest of the ingredients.
Cook 25-30 minutes until bubbling.
