Black Bean Hummus

Ingredients
15 oz. can of Chickpeas (washed and drained)15 oz. can of Black Beans (washed and drained)2 cloves of Garlic, chopped 1/2 tsp of ground Cumin Seed1/4 tsp Salt1/4 cup freshly squeezed Lemon Juice2 Tbsp Tahini
Directions
1. Wash and drain the beans.

2. Put beans and the rest of ingredients in a food proccesor, process until smooth.

3. Add additional cumin and salt as needed.

4. Enjoy!

    I added chili powder and red pepper to this. It was good, but needed some help. Though I don't dislike this recipe, I think I will try one of the more "south of the border" recipes instead. - 12/27/11
