Chicken with Pasta Soup

Ingredients
9 oz cooked chicken breast, diced3 carrots, peeled and sliced3 stalks celery, diced1 onion, chopped 6 c. water1 bay leaf9 oz Dreamfields rotini, uncooked weight2 c. non-fat milk1/4 c. cornstarch
Directions
Place chopped chicken, bay leaf, and veggies in 4 qt. dutch oven. Bring to a boil. Simmer about 15 minutes until the veggies are soft. Add pasta, and cook 10 minutes. Mix milk and cornstarch together, and slowly add to simmering soup, stirring constantly, until soup thickens. Add pepper to taste. Enjoy! Makes 8 servings.

    Very, very yummy!!! This is a keeper for sure. I used two cans of chicken broth, then remainder finished with the water instead of using 6 cups of water, gave more flavor to the soup, probably increased sodium a little, but that was ok with me. - 10/9/09
