Green Beans (snap), 2 pounds Turkey drumstick (leg), smoked, 1 pound with boneSoup, chicken broth, canned, less/reduced sodium, 4 cups Onions, raw, 1 small Olive Oil, 1.5 tbspquartered Potato, 2 cups
1. Saute onions in olive oil for 7- 10 mins
2. Add 1 tbsp garlic powder and smoked turkey leg
3. Add low-sodium chicken broth. Bring to a boil
4. Add green bean. Bring to a boil. Then simmer until soft.
5. Last 30 mins add potato. Cook until tender

yes, this is the ticket! lots of smoked turkey...i cook it first and cut it off the bone so that there is lots of it throughout the green beans...i don't saute the onions, they cook enough with the beans...using canned beans this makes a great pot luck dish, especially when you have to serve many - 12/15/09
