PrairieHarpy's Slow Cooked Pumpkin Butter - No Sugar Added

Ingredients
Directions
4 cans 100% pumpkin puree (NOT pie filling)2 cups Splenda granular1 cup sugar free pancake syrupjuice of 1 lemon2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Stir together all ingredients in slow cooker / crock pot.
It is wise to squeeze the lemon into a separate bowl first so that you can easily remove errant seeds with a fork.
Cook on low for about 4 hours, stirring and scraping sides once every 30 minutes or so.
Serve immediately or after 24 hours refrigeration, whichever you desire.
Serve with ginger cookies, graham crackers, nuts, whipped cream. Go crazy. Be creative.
