Potato Soup - Sort of from Cooking Light

Ingredients

8 yukon gold potatoes, chopped/peeled1 large onion, chopped and splitgarlic, however much you want6 cups chicken stock8 oz. light kielbasa1 cup kale1 tsp sage2 tbsp pine nuts, toasted1 cup half and halfparmesan cheesesalt and pepper
Chop onions and potatoes.
Split onions.
Saute 3/4 of the onions and garlic, add salt/pepper.
Add potatoes, saute a few minutes more.
Add chicken stock
Simmer 20 min.
Puree potatoes
Saute remaining 1/4 onions with light kielbasa.
Boil kale for 4 min., then strain, add kale, 1/4 cup of kale liquid, pine nuts, sage to small bowl and puree.
Add kale and kielbasa mixtures to potato soup.
Add cream, stir and serve with parmesan on top.
