I use real eggs and a microwave egg cooker cup (from Wal-Mart) to make these. I lightly beat the egg and then place the turkey sausage (2 links or 1patty) right in with the egg and cook in the microwave for 1 min 30 sec. Sometimes I even add a little sprinkling of shredded Mexican cheese. - 12/3/09

I occasionally sub a thin slice of deli ham for the sausage. It cuts the calories a bit but you have to watch the sodium. - 11/3/09

They were ok, but microwaving eggbeaters always makes it taste really rubbery to me. - 4/11/10

Sounds like a healthier version than the original, but I'd much rather use real eggs - 11/13/09

    THANKS FOR THIS RECIPE.

    I LOVE B'FAST SANDWICHES ALSO.

I FOUND A PLASTIC "EGG MCMUFFIN" COOKER AT WAL MART. IT COOKS ONE EGG/OMLET FOR ONE MINUTE AND 2 EGGS FOR 2 MINUTES. IT IS FANTASTIC. I AM GIVING THEM FOR CHRISTMAS PRESENTS. PRICE ABOUT $4.00 - 12/1/09

Easy, good and filling. Sometimes, I use bacon bits in my egg instead of using sausage. Also good and reduces the calories some. - 7/19/11

Wonderful, easy to make quick breakfast. I layered mine in a cup and cooked it in the microwave for about 2 min. Sprinkled cheese on top. Is a Keeper! - 2/9/10

I have one of these at least a couple times a week. I normally use one slice of the Oscar Meyer Canadian Bacon, but have also tried the turkey sausage and turkey bacon. I toast my english muffin, but I cook the rest in the microwave and I have the perfect shaped cup that fits perfect on my muffin - 10/23/09

I have this most days of the week. You get whole grains, protein and dairy. Add a bit of fruit and it's the perfect breakfast.

This is a fantastic way to skip the drive through. I told my Sis about it. Most times I don't put the sausage on and use regular shredded cheese (just not a lot of it) - 11/11/15

Lots of options w/ meat or no meat. You can use turkey sausage crumbles and add to egg, or deli ham, or canadian bacon slices, turkey bacon, lean bacon (which is better tasting and lower cals), or add chopped veggies to egg beater. I make this everyday, and change it up to add variety.
