Split Pea Soup (crock pot)

Ingredients
1 pound dry split peas10 cups water1 pound smoked sausage of your choice5 cubes chicken bouillon1 1/2 cups chopped carrots1 cup chopped celery2 potatoes, peeled and cubed1/2 teaspoon garlic powder1/2 teaspoon dried oregano2 bay leaves1 onion, chopped
Directions
Soak peas overnight in water and drain before putting in crock pot. Add all ingredients and cook 4 to 5 hours on high. Remove bay leaves before serving. I add less water, only about 7 or 8 cups.
