I love this recipe and make it every evening for my after dinner snak....thank you so much.....I might add I also mixed up a quart jar of it so now I have only to dip out 3 tablespoons and add the yogurt.

I substituted 2 TBSP of unsweetened applesauce for the yogurt. Very good and took care of my chocolate craving. :) - 6/16/10

I cut the cocoa a little (3/4 TBS) which cut the bitterness, and microwaved it for 35 seconds. The shortened cooking time made it less spongy and more like a brownie consistency. Topped with a small bit of light Cool Whip...it's great! - 1/7/11

I loved this! So so good and easy. Noticed people where commenting on the consistency, could be you are not using enough baking soda. I used 1/4 tsp came out perfect, just like a brownie. I will be making this again.

AMAZING!!!! 100% better than the "No Pudge" brand and cheaper too! I really cannot believe how good this is. I did have to double yogurt. It appears more yogurt = more cakelike consistency.

I didn't have yogurt so I used applesauce. I also used "sun crystals" (stevia plackets that i use for my coffee) instead of sugar and it came out absolutely perfect!! Also threw in a little vanilla extract. YUM! Will make this a lot more :) - 2/5/10

I agree that this had a weird consistency and was sort of bitter. I like the idea of this though, so I might play around with the recipe. EDIT: I added a little more sugar, a little less cocoa powder, and used soymilk and a dash of vanilla extract instead of yogurt. It was much better than before! - 4/22/10

oooh! I tried it both ways, with the white flour and the whole wheat with 2 TBS of fat free yogurt. I didn't have vanilla, so I added a bit of almond extract. 2 thumbs up! we liked the Whole wheat better which, in this house is unusual - 2/27/10

This was awesome!I used about half a tablespoon of milk and a dash of vanilla too, and natural yoghurt, and mixed in 1TB choco chips before the wet ingredients, then another 1/2TB on top to melt.It was exactly like a moist, spongy brownie! The bad review mustve burnt it! My choc craving sorted! tops! - 1/17/09

This is soo awesome. It is in my meal plan every night. All my family loves it also. My only problem was that i had to add a little extra yogurt but i have found that adding a tablespoon of peanut butter also makes it taste great! - 9/3/10

When using cocoa - you must use some vanilla to cut the bitterness - just a tip. - 1/25/13

This is delicious!!! I coated ramekin w/ coconut oil, used slightly less cocoa and added a generous pinch of instant coffee granules. I also added a tsp of "Clear and Natural" fiber, and 1 tbsp mini choc chips to dry ingredients, then a sprinkling of more chips on top to melt. Peeerrfect!!!! thanks - 8/6/11

thank you so much for creating this recipe! it is perfect for sweet cravings. i add a bit of vanilla, and somtimes squish up half a banana in it to make it bigger. if you cook it in an egg poacher/steamer it is so moist and yummy. - 6/16/11

This was awesome!! I didn't add enough baking soda to the first one. It was a little flat, but the second one came out perfect. My husband and I loved it and will definitely eat it again. One for each of us instead of a whole pan to tempt us. Thank you for the recipe. - 1/23/11

Try a little less cocoa and 40 seconds cooking
Used baking powder in place of baking soda
Plain yogurt and vanilla flavoring - 5/7/13

I love this! Perfect for my chocolate craving. I used Hershey's special dark cocoa powder and a little extra yogurt. I mixed it in a separate dish and then put it in a greased little bowl in the microwave. Wonderful! - 8/12/11

SO HAPPY you posted this. I needed a sweet recipe that I couldn't gorge myself on--single serving is PERFECT! I also substituted the yogurt for unsweetened applesauce, and added 1/2 tbsp of dark choc chips. Thank you again! You saved my night-time chocolate cravings! - 3/14/11

Excellent texture. I microwaved mine for 70 sec. in a coffee mug. I used just over a TBS of yogurt and added a little olive oil and some chocolate chips. Turned out great! - 6/1/10

This has a weird consistancy. Almost like jello/pudding. I had to put more sugar in it because the batter was extremely bitter. I don't think I'll make this again. I would rather just have chocolate pudding to fix my chocolate craving. And that's saying something because I love brownies! - 1/23/10

Very good! The consistency was a little different but after the first bit I decided I really liked it. I used unsweetened applesauce in place of the yogurt and microwaved it for 70 seconds. I will cut the cocoa a little the next time but overall I thought this was really good! - 4/13/11

I didn't like it with yogurt, however I tried it again with 1.5 Tbsp water and it wasn't too bad. It requires some more tweeking. - 1/17/09

This was really good and for low fat it did a great job fulfilling my chocolate craving! I added some chopped walnuts and few mini-choc chips to the batter... also, I took the advice of some others and used 2 Tbsp of vanilla yogurt. Getting ready to make it again... = ] - 4/27/10

Okay - this recipe may just save me. I used regular vanilla yogurt and added a sprinkling of skor toffee bits and white chocolate chips. I am going to be using this recipe pretty much all the time. LOVE IT, thanks for sharing!!! - 4/12/10

I liked it and will make it again. I used strawberry yogurt because I had it on hand. Probably better with vanilla or applesauce. Thanks! - 8/9/08
