Ginger Cookies

Ingredients
2/3 cup oil1 cup sugar1 egg4 tablespoons molasses2 cups flour, sifted2 teaspoons soda1/2 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon cinnamon1 teaspoon ginger1/4 cup sugar for dipping
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix oil and sugar thoroughly. Add egg and beat well. Stir in molasses. Sift and add dry ingredients. Mix well. Drop from teaspoon into sugar and form into balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet 3 inches apart. Bake about 15 minues. Remove to wire rack. Cookies will flatten and crinkle. Yields about 5 dozen.
