Australian Jam Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup butter1/2 cup sugar1 tsp vanilla1 egg seperated1 1/4 cup flour2/3 cup chopped almonds raspberry jam (aprox. 1 tbsp per cookie depending on the size.)
Directions
Beat Sugar, butter, vanilla and egg yolk. Stir flour in. Wrap in plastic and chill until firm. Roll into 1 inch balls and dip slightly in egg white. roll into nuts. place thumbprint and fill with jam.
