1/2 pkg of turkey breakfast sausage (approx 6 oz cooked)1/2 pkg of ground turkey (approx 6 oz cooked)1 small onion, chopped2 cloves garlic, minced1 jalapeno pepper, chopped finely1 1/2 tsp cumin1 1/2 tsp chili powder1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (or to taste)1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
Heat a large skillet prepared with cooking spray. Add onion, garlic, and jalapeno. Sweat them for about 2 minutes. Add turkey sausage and ground turkey. Cook through. Add spices and beans. Stir until well combined and beans are heated through.
