Gingerbread Cookies

1 cup margarine or butter1/2 cup sugar1/2 cup brown sugar, packed1/3 cup molasses2/3 cup light corn syrup4 - 4 1/2 cups flour1 tsp baking soda1 tsp salt1 tsp ground ginger1 tsp ground cinnamon1/2 tsp ground cloves
Cream butter and sugar and beat until light. Add molasses and corn syrup - mix well. Add sifted dry ingredients and knead until smooth. Chill till firm (about 1/2 hour). Roll out on floured board and cut into shapes. Bake until light brown around edges - 375 for 5-7 minutes.

I got more servings because I had a smaller cookie cutter. But these were nice and soft inside with just a pinch of crisp outside. Nice flavor, unfortunately for me I had dark corn syrup not molasses. With the difference in boldness of flavor I imagine they would be even better. LOVE THESE! Thanks! - 12/7/12
