2 cups granulated sugar2 cups quick or regular oats(or wholegrain rice cereal for allergies)1/4 cup cocoa1/4 cup canola oil1/2 cup lowfat milk(or soymilk for allergies)1 tablespoon vanilla extract2 tablespoons natural peanutbutter(or almond/soy for allergies)
1. In pinch bowls place all the ingredients separately, this will help because it is a fast paced recipe, also set out wax, parchment or plastic wrap
2. In a large saucepan add the sugar, cocoa, oil and milk
3. Stir
4. On high heat let those ingredients come to a rolling boil, then add vanilla
5. Once the mix has started boiling to a rapid boil, let continue to boil for about 3 minutes
6. Once the 3 minutes is up add remaining ingredients
7. Remove from heat
8. Stir rapidly until everything is mixed together and mixture gets slightly stiffer
9. On the set out paper, using a standard metal serving spoon (the one labeled tablespoon) drop the cookies
10. Let harden in room temperature, then enjoy in moderation
